Scuba Review (lake) PDF Print E-mail

Dive briefing, WZT, Lake ZurichIt's be a while since you last dived, or perhaps you didn't dive again after your Open Water Course? You feel reasonably confident that you can remember most of the skills.

You feel confident enough to skip the Scuba Review in the swimming pool, and want to go straight to the lake. After all - you may have dived in the lake during your Open Water Diver course.

What do I need to start?

  • Hold a scuba certification or be enrolled in a scuba certification course
  • Minimum age: 10 years old

What will I do?
First, you'll review the safety information you learned during your initial training. Then, you head to open water to practice some of the fundamental scuba skills.

Is this really the right programme for me?
How do you feel? Would you prefer to practice these skills in a swimming pool, or do you feel that you'd be comfortable performing some of the skills in a lake environment? If so, then also consider our Scuba Review programme in a pool. If you think you'd simply like some supervised practice without a review of the skills then the Discover Local Diving (guided dive) programme might be the best for you. If you are unsure what is appropriate for you, please feel free to discuss your requirements with us.

What do I need to bring with me?
Swimming costume, mask, snorkel, fins and neoprene boots.

Giant stride entry, WZT, Lake ZurichWhat is included?
Equipment rental, air refills.

How long will it take?
This depends on the amount of review you need, but usually allowing a full day means you won't be rushed for time, you may even get the chance to squeeze in a second dive.

When are the programmes held?
The Scuba Review (lake) is organised according to your schedule.

Where can I go from here?
After your Scuba Review you'll be prepared to get back into diving or continue your dive education.
