The Garden, WZT, Lake ZurichYou are new to our waters - maybe you completed your training in the ocean and are keen to try some lake diving? Maybe you feel that your skills are a little rusty, and you'd just like to have the added security of a divemaster or instructor being with you during your dive. Maybe you've finished your Open Water Diver course but still not confident enough to venture out on your own with your buddy.

It doesn't matter what the reason is - the Discover Local Diving programme is designed for you to experience one of our dive sites in a safe, supervised manner. You'll receive a full briefing from an experienced divemaster or instructor. You'll be guided through the site, and shown the highlights. Since you'll be supervised by a professional you can relax a little and enjoy yourself.

What do I need to start?

  • Hold a scuba certification
  • Minimum age: 10 years old

What will I do?
You'll head straight to the open water, receive a detailed briefing and dive with your guide.

Is this really the right programme for me?
This is a great way to get to know a new site, or dive in conditions with which you are not familiar. Please note that if you are not feeling confident you should also read the descriptions of the Scuba Review and Scuba Review (lake) programmes before deciding on this option. Remember that you are a certified diver - with this programme your guide will supervise you, but will not provide remedial training or practice skills. If you are unsure what is appropriate for you, please feel free to discuss your requirements with us.

What do I need to bring with me?
Swimming costume, mask, snorkel, fins and neoprene boots.

What is included?
Equipment rental, air refills.

View of boat, WZT, Lake ZurichHow long will it take?
A single dive could be done in a weekend. Why not take a whole day on a weekend and do two dives?

When are the programmes held?
The Discover Local Diving programme is organised according to your schedule.

Where can I go from here?
You can continue your adventure by joining us for some more guided dives, or if you haven't already done so enrol in the Advanced Open Water Diver course. You can also participate in the various speciality courses on offer.
